association. Guildford East comprises
9 Scout Groups and 5 Explorer Units.

Scouting is about the Physical,
Mental and Spiritual development
of young people between the ages
of 6 and 25. Significant emphasis
is placed on participation and outdoor
activities to achieve these aims.
The Scout Movement has five sections
for young people aged between 6
and 25.
Beaver Scouts (Ages 6 - 8)
Cub Scouts (Ages 8 - 10)
Scouts (Ages 10 - 14) *
Explorer Scouts (Ages 14 - 18) **
The Scout Network (Ages 18 -25)
Not all Scout Groups have all sections,

accept boys. For more specific details
