to Broadwater Sports Club, Godalming,
the home of Guildford Rugby Club.
Rugby is available for all ages
and levels of ability, ranging from
mini rugby through to colts, then
5 senior sides which allow for serious
London Div 1 aspiring players, plus
social sides, vets team and women's
rugby team.
We provide top class coaching with
Chartered Physiotherapy support
both at training and at matches.
The club also has Bowls, Croquet,
and Squash sections. Within the
grounds there is a top class bowling
green, competition croquet lawns,
a cricket square and a squash court.
Guildford Rugby Club has established
itself over the past 50 years as
one of the leading Clubs in the
County. The Club’s facilities
are second to none in Surrey. The
Club’s unique position in
the County means that its pitches
are being used on a regular basis
for club games, for Youth coaching
sessions and County matches.
Over the last few years, Guildford
Rugby Club has enjoyed considerable
success on the pitch. The first
XV, Development XV and Ladies teams
all won their respective leagues
last year and this year the first
XV will be playing in London South
Division 1, one away from the National
League. Finally, the Club has a
vibrant minis section catering for
children of all ages on Sundays,
as well as a very successful veterans’
team.
Club facilities include a fully
stocked bar, kitchen and function
room. These are available for hire
at competitive rates and all types
of functions can be catered for
such as wedding receptions, stag
nights, barn dances, discotheques,
birthday parties, funeral receptions
etc. We will provide bar, catering
and security staff and we have ample
car parking.
We have 5 rugby pitches during
the playing season and during the
summer season the grounds are available
for hire supported by the changing
room facilities. Combine this with
the hire of the club house and we
have a very flexible facility capable
of catering to your needs.
