G.I.H.S.C
has been established for 10 years
rising from the ashes of the original
franchise with the principle aim
of seeing Ice Hockey continue in
Guildford and ensuring that the
humble supporter was not forgotten.
GIHSC’s remit is to “Promote
and provide active support for professional
ice hockey in Guildford”
GIHSC support the Flames organisation
financially through the 50/50 draws,
200 Club and the Sponsorship grids.
In addition we run a programme of
social events for supporters club
members such as the “Meet
the players” pre-season Barbeque,
Quiz nights & parties etc.
We also produce our own fanzine
“fire on Ice” which
is free to members or available
to non-members for £1. Fire
on Ice as been featured discussion
topics like Mark Pallister v Pedro
the Blackpool Donkey” and
the now much copied “Fantasy
roughing league”The GIHSC
ConstitutionApart from the general
support we give to the Flames, the
Supporters Club run fund raising
and social activities throughout
the season. We regularly raise over
£12,000 per year for the team.

GIHSC take great pride in sponsoring
the end of season awards for the
"Best British Player"
and "Player of the year".
Both awards being made solely on
votes cast by GIHSC members.
