Guildford Brass Band
Is
one of the south's most successful
brass bands. Its members enjoy contesting
and performing concerts on a regular
basis; rehearse twice a week and regularly
invite guest conductors to take the
Band. New players are always welcome.
The Band is available for hire throughout
the year and have a varied repertoire,
ranging from brass band classics and
marches to classical, jazz, and popular
music.

City Sea Angling Club
Although GCSAC is based about 35 miles
from the sea it is an active SEA angling
club affiliated to the NFSA &
BCC, running about 50 days boat fishing
days each year, from various ports,
as well a dozen beach fishing events.
Club meetings are at 8:30 pm on the
first TUESDAY of the month at The
City Club, Josephs Road, Guildford,
GU1 1DN. Experienced and novice anglers
are welcome

The
Pranksters Theatre Company
Founded in 1977, The Pranksters Theatre
Company is known for its innovative
and imaginative staging of a wide
range of plays from Shakespeare to
modern, comedy to tragedy. For more
than 25 years Pranksters have performed
at the bandstand in Guildford's beautiful
Castle grounds. Pranksters were also
involved, with fellow members of the
Guildford Amateur Theatre Association,
in the creation of Guildford's Electric
Theatre. The Pranksters Theatre Company
is a small, very friendly group and
we are always ready to welcome new
members.
