Saturday 20 September |
Who's
faster, you or Swifty the Hare?
Find out at this community run in Guildford's
Stoke Park on the 20th September at 11am.
This is a family-bonding, running-as-a-family,
bringing-a-family-picnic type event, so
grab your Gran and Grandad, get your cousins
involved and make it a family day out to
remember!
As always, this run is not timed and
there's no age limit, so you can wheel
Great Aunt Mildred round to blow away
the cobwebs or wander round after your
toddler, stopping every few paces to look
at flowers and you'll all still get a
gold (coloured) medal and lots of goodies!
There's complimentary fruit and bottled
water for all entrants and Swifty the
Hare will be giving out hugs and stickers
to the young (and young-at-heart).
And if all that wasn't enough, we're
running a competition for the biggest
family who enters! No, we're not talking
tall, we mean, most people. So bring all
your brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles
and you could be a winner!
As always, all sponsor money raised will
go straight to The Childrens Trust, a
charity that helps children with multiple
disabilities due to brain damage, so if
you've got a stick-in-the mud auntie who
won't run, get her to dig deep and sponsor
you!
